17 schools closed in Assam due to zero success rate

In a warning to set matters right, Assam authorities has decided to close 17 schools for zero fulfillment within the Class X board examinations, outcomes of which had been declared on Saturday. Education minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said “The teachers will be transferred to some better schools so that they can work in schools doing better. At the same time the students of these schools will be enrolled in nearby schools,”. He told journalists in Guwahati on Sunday that the action was taken as consistent with the selection taken earlier and so all instructors serving in those colleges can be transferred to other districts within the subsequent seventy two-hours. Officials said the tough decision became taken with a purpose to ship a stern message to the schools no longer improving their performances regardless of warnings and important facilities furnished through the years. Himanta Biswa Sarma, however, informed that 109 government schools showed one hundred per cent skip result this time in comparison to 54 such colleges last year. Similarly, the variety of schools which stated among ninety in line with cent to a hundred per cent pass end result also expanded from 386 ultimate 12 months to 503 this year.
