- All the clinically referred cases must get themselves tested in the COVID Screening center, located in medicine emergency building of SMCH, during the time period between 11 AM to 1 PM. The individual should carry proper referral form from the Medical Practitioners & registered doctors, he/she has consulted.
The order has explained that the guidelines have been issued, keeping in mind, the voluntary approach of people for COVID-19 testing, who either claim that they have come in contact of a COVID-19 positive patient or have developed symptoms. It has added that many doctors, medical practitioners and hospitals, require patients to get tested for COVID-19, prior to treatment. Moreover, the guidelines have also been issued to avoid people creating congestion in various health centers with the intention to get themselves tested, which may in turn, increase the chances of contamination.
The order says, “Anybody found violating the guidelines will be liable for prosecution under relevant act.”
