Assam Health and Finance Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has announced via Twitter that 38 new cases of COVID-19 have been detected in Assam. Out of these 4 are from Barak Valley. The district-wise distribution of these new cases are as follows :

Dima Hasao : 9
Nagaon : 7
Sonitpur : 5
Hailakandi : 2
Karimganj : 2
